Innovation and inspiration through new business ideas

A dozens of projects will allow migrant families in Guyana to explore creativity, get new skills and to get a new income from this.

The project

The Micro-Business Small Grants Project for Venezuelan migrants is an initiative between the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) and Voices GY. Working with 12 entrepreneurs from the migrant community based in Georgetown, Guyana, the initiative seeks to not only provide an initial financial impetus to start-ups, but also the tools and know-how to make these businesses successful and sustainable.

The website

On this website, you will not only be able to see the initiatives we have supported, but you will also find many of the interactive resources Voices GY provide within the course.
